We design innovative, sustainable technologies for current and future cities. Our design process is evidence-based and design-led. We take a holistic approach, leveraging multiple in the same design. This allows for valuable synergies to emerge from the design process. A floating community may for instance be a clever way of mitigating housing shortage. But it also may be a decentralised power station if the homes are designed to harness energy or heat from the surrounding environment.
We advice on matters of urban sustainability and urban resilience. We provide a fresh, evidence-based perspective on critical issues, identifying problems and proposing actionable solutions. We take a cross-disciplinary approach, thinking across knowledge silos and providing scalable solutions. We advice policymakers as well as companies.
We advice on challenges and opportunities for city managers and companies working with the built environment. Drawing on a deep knowledge of the field and an understanding of current trends, we build scenarios and project the impact of so-called drivers of change on the future city.
We develop and broker bespoke funding models for sustainable urban developments and floating communities.
